  • Read the Programs Policies
  • Make the FPS transaction (see all the details at the Online Membership Form) and upload the transaction screenshot as indicated at the online form. If we do not receive the screenshot, we will not be able to process the membership.
  • Please note that the membership fees should be a single transaction by themselves. Do not combine them with any class enrollment fees.

What are the benefits of UPC membership?

UPC Programs and events are only open to UPC members and their guests.

  • You'll be informed when to enroll in programs and about up-coming events.
  • Your support helps the UPC to continue its events and programs and to organize new activities.
  • Businesses providing discounts for UPC members, such as TC Deli in Hang Hau or the UST Bistro.

What does a UPC member do?

The roles a UPC member can play are: inactive, semi-active, and active.

Active Role

  • Organize a new event
  • Organize a new program
  • Join a sub-committee
  • Help with the newsletter, web-site, etc.
  • Become an officer
  • Able to vote for officers of the executive committee.
  • Able to vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Semi-active Role

  • Help out at an event (like Movie Night or the Garage Sale).
  • Help to plan an event.
  • Able to vote for officers of the executive committee.
  • Able to vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Inactive Role

  • Pay the family membership, enroll in the programs that appeal to you, do nothing more.
  • Is the most common role, especially for new members ( the UPC hopes this will someday change).
  • Able to vote for officers of the executive committee.
  • Able to vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

All members of the University community are welcome to join the UPC.
